Description

Delicious Italian Cream Bombs filled with a creamy custard and topped with chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Add butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt; mix until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into muffin tins and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Let cool and then scoop out the centers.
  6. Whip the cream and mix with powdered sugar to make the filling.
  7. Fill the hollows with cream and melt chocolate for topping.
  8. Drizzle chocolate over the filled bombs.

Notes

  • Can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
  • You can substitute the chocolate with caramel for a different flavor.
