Description

This Keto Chocolate Soufflé is a rich and fluffy dessert that is perfect for chocolate lovers on a low-carb diet.


Ingredients

  • 4 ounces dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/4 cup erythritol or preferred sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease ramekins with butter and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler.
  4. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with erythritol until pale and creamy.
  5. Add the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla extract to the egg yolks, mixing well.
  6. In another bowl, beat the egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form.
  7. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
  8. Divide the mixture among the prepared ramekins.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until puffed.
