- 12 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 cup coconut flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup pork rinds, crushed
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the mozzarella sticks in half.
- In one bowl, mix the coconut flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese and crushed pork rinds.
- Coat each mozzarella stick in the coconut flour mixture, dip in the eggs, and then coat with the pork rind mixture.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the mozzarella sticks until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double coat the mozzarella sticks.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
