Description

A delicious combination of lemon-garlic chicken served in pita bread with feta tzatziki and roasted bell peppers.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 pita breads
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 bell peppers, roasted
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the chicken until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the tzatziki by mixing cucumber, yogurt, feta, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roast the bell peppers until charred and soft.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, slice it thinly and fill the pita with chicken, roasted bell peppers, and tzatziki.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate longer than 30 minutes.
