Description

A refreshing twist on traditional pizza, this Lemon Pizza combines zesty lemon flavor with a unique crust, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 lemons, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  4. Spread ricotta cheese over the pizza base.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Drizzle lemon juice and zest over the cheese.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, and add fresh basil.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden.
  9. Remove from oven and drizzle with honey if desired.
  10. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter pizza, add more honey or a drizzle of agave syrup on top.
