Description

This Light and Fluffy Strawberry Soufflé is a delightful dessert that showcases the fresh taste of strawberries in a light, airy texture.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pureed strawberries and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream.
  6. Carefully fold in the beaten egg whites.
  7. Spoon the mixture into ramekins and place them in a baking dish.
  8. Fill the baking dish with hot water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puffed and lightly golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter soufflé, adjust the sugar according to taste.
  • Serve with fresh strawberries on top for added decoration.
