- 1 cup semolina
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar, and bring to a boil.
- In a separate pan, melt the butter and add the semolina, stirring continuously until golden brown.
- Gradually add the sugar syrup to the semolina mixture and mix well.
- Stir in chopped pistachios and vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into a greased dish and allow it to cool.
- Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- This recipe can be garnished with additional pistachios for decoration.
