- 500 grams ricotta cheese
- 200 grams powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 250 grams puff pastry
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of the ricotta mixture in the center of each circle.
- Fold the pastry over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- These pastries can be served warm or at room temperature.
- For added flavor, you can mix in some lemon zest with the ricotta.
