Description
Delicious Manicotti Shells filled with a creamy cheese mixture, baked in marinara sauce, and topped with melted cheese.

- 12 manicotti shells
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place the stuffed manicotti shells in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top of the shells.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle additional mozzarella on top, and bake for another 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
- Substitute with different cheeses for varied flavors.
