Description

Delicious mini caramel banana bread loaves topped with a sweet condensed milk glaze, perfect for a delightful treat!


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour four mini loaf pans or line them with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the banana mixture, stirring until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in 1/4 cup of the caramel sauce until evenly distributed.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared mini loaf pans, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. While the loaves are baking, prepare the glaze by combining the sweetened condensed milk and remaining caramel sauce in a small bowl. Mix until smooth.
  9. Once the loaves are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Drizzle the condensed milk glaze over the warm loaves.
  10. Allow the loaves to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to the dry ingredients.
  • You can substitute half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour for a healthier option.
