Description

This traditional Moroccan foldable bread is perfect for sandwiches or as a side with your favorite dishes.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, then knead the dough until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape them into balls.
  5. Flatten each ball into a round shape, about ½ inch thick.
  6. Cook on a hot griddle for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm or store in a sealed container.
