- 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
Instructions
- Mix the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a bowl until it resembles wet sand.
- Press the mixture into the base of a 9-inch springform pan to create a solid crust and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Blend the softened cream cheese in a separate bowl until smooth, then gradually add the sifted powdered sugar.
- Add the vanilla extract, maple syrup, and bourbon, blending until smooth and homogenous.
- Whip the chilled heavy cream in another bowl until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and smooth it out evenly.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours, or overnight for optimal firmness.
- Once set, remove from the springform pan, slice, and serve chilled, optionally drizzling extra maple syrup on top.
