Description

Delicious and hearty Norwegian Potato Dumplings, perfect as a side dish or main course.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups water


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes with flour, egg, and salt until a dough forms.
  2. Shape the dough into balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  3. In a pot, bring water to a boil and gently drop in the dumplings.
  4. Cook until they float to the top, then simmer for 5 more minutes.
  5. Remove from water and serve hot.
