- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes with flour, egg, and salt until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and gently drop in the dumplings.
- Cook until they float to the top, then simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Remove from water and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with butter or gravy for extra flavor.
- Make sure the potatoes are well mashed to avoid lumps in the dumplings.
