Description

A delicious and hearty pie combining tender beef and fresh oysters.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef steak
  • 1 cup fresh oysters
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups pie crust, pre-made
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the beef steak until browned. Remove and let cool.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the onions and stir.
  5. Chop the cooked beef and mix it with the sautéed onions and oysters.
  6. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  7. Fill with the beef and oyster mixture.
  8. Cover with another layer of pie crust and seal the edges.
  9. Brush with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until crust is golden brown.

Notes

  • Let the pie rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
