- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup ripe peaches, pureed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the peach puree and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a light simmer, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into serving dishes and chill until set, at least 4 hours.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, strain the mixture before pouring into dishes.
- Garnish with fresh peach slices or whipped cream if desired.
