Ingredients

- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3 large egg whites
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine pomegranate juice and sugar over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes, then heat gently until dissolved.
- Stir the gelatin mixture into the pomegranate juice until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then set aside.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the pomegranate mixture into the whipped cream, then gently fold in the egg whites.
- Pour the mousse into a dome-shaped mold and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
- Once set, unmold the mousse and serve chilled.
Notes
- Make sure to use fresh pomegranate juice for the best flavor.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance.
- Garnish with pomegranate seeds for added texture and decoration.
