- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups white chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring, and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chunks.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
