Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream over medium heat.
- Whisk in the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Continue to heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Serve hot, topped with whipped cream.
