Description

Delicious roasted spiced plantains that are easy to make and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and slice the plantains diagonally into 1/2 inch thick pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, cumin, cayenne, and salt.
  4. Add the sliced plantains to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the plantains in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.
