Description

A delightful blend of rosewater and pistachios in a creamy ice cream base.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rosewater
  • 1/2 cup crushed pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, rosewater, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  3. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. During the last few minutes of churning, add the crushed pistachios.
  5. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger rose flavor, add more rosewater to taste.
