Description
Deliciously soft and gooey Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars filled with layers of chocolate and caramel.
Ingredients

- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- ½ tsp flaky sea salt (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the dough into the prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the dough, then gently spread the remaining dough on top. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- These bars are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
- For an extra touch, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
