Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the saltine crackers and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 5 to 7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
- Let sit for a few minutes until chocolate is melted, then spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle with nuts if using, then cool in the refrigerator until set.
- Break into pieces and serve.
