Delightful Santa Claus Macarons perfect for the holiday season!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 100g almond flour
  • 100g powdered sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • red food coloring
  • 150g butter
  • 200g white chocolate
  • 50g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Combine the almond flour and powdered sugar, then sift.
  3. Whip egg whites until frothy, gradually add granulated sugar, then beat until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in dry ingredients and food coloring.
  5. Pipe onto a lined baking sheet and let sit for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Let cool completely.
  8. For filling, melt white chocolate, then mix in mascarpone and milk until smooth.
  9. Assemble the macarons with filling between two shells.
  10. Decorate with additional icing if desired.
