Description

A delicious and healthy recipe combining juicy orange chicken with crisp broccoli.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and sear until golden brown.
  3. Add broccoli to the pan and stir-fry with the chicken for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour the orange sauce mixture over the chicken and broccoli, stirring to coat. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
