- 2 pounds beef shank
- 4 cups bone broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, add the beef shank.
- Pour the bone broth over the beef shank.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, carrots, and celery.
- Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Once cooked, shred the beef and mix it back into the broth before serving.
