Description

These soft cream cheese cookies are topped with a rich and delicious Nutella glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Nutella for glazing


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  9. Once cooled, spread Nutella on top of each cookie as a glaze.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, sprinkle some sea salt on top of the Nutella glaze.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
