Delicious cornbread poppers drizzled with honey butter, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill a greased mini muffin tin with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. In a small bowl, combine honey and butter for the glaze.
  8. Drizzle the honey butter over the warm cornbread poppers before serving.

Notes
