- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fill a greased mini muffin tin with the batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, combine honey and butter for the glaze.
- Drizzle the honey butter over the warm cornbread poppers before serving.
Notes
- For extra sweetness, add more honey to the glaze.
