Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt, whisking until mixed.
- In a separate bowl, blend the apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into a piping bag or zip-top bag and fill each cavity of the donut pan about two-thirds full.
- Bake the donuts for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the donuts bake, prepare the cinnamon-sugar coating by mixing granulated sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- While still warm, roll each donut in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated.
