Ingredients

- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup finely chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 package dumpling wrappers
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups spinach
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Take a dumpling wrapper and place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold to seal, forming a dumpling.
- Repeat until all the mixture is used.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer.
- Add the chili paste and rice vinegar, stirring well.
- Carefully add the dumplings to the simmering broth and cook for about 8 minutes or until they float.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and spinach, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- This soup can be made ahead of time, just reheat before serving.
- Adjust the level of spice by increasing or decreasing the chili paste.
