Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring noodles tossed in a spicy garlic chili sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (lo mein, ramen, or spaghetti)
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chili paste or sriracha
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to heat preference)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, red pepper flakes, sesame oil, and sugar.
  4. Add the cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your heat preference.
  • Oyster sauce is optional but adds depth to the flavor.
