- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder or fresh grated ginger
- 1 tbsp lime juice (optional, for a tangy finish)
- Cooking spray or a light brush of oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger, and lime juice until well combined.
- Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken and let sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
- Set air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Place the marinated chicken thighs in a single layer. Cook for 14–16 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden, sticky, and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
- For extra stickiness, brush with more sweet chili sauce during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds. Serve with rice, noodles, or steamed veggies.
