Description

A delicious and flavorful Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta recipe that combines tender steak with pasta in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onions (for garnish)
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for extra heat

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak slices with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil and sear steak for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, remaining olive oil, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and brown sugar. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Return steak to the pan, add cooked pasta, and toss everything to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 1–2 minutes to heat through.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot!

Notes

  • Adjust the level of spiciness by varying the amount of sriracha or chili garlic sauce.
  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free pasta and soy sauce.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
