Description

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
  4. Spread the cooked sausage in the bottom of the baking dish. Add an even layer of shredded cheeses on top. Arrange the tater tots evenly over the cheese layer.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the eggs are fully set.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with green onions or parsley if desired. Slice and serve warm!
