A delicious and hearty breakfast casserole featuring tater tots, sausage, and cheese, perfect for feeding a crowd.

- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
- Spread the cooked sausage in the bottom of the baking dish. Add an even layer of shredded cheeses on top. Arrange the tater tots evenly over the cheese layer.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour evenly over the casserole.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the eggs are fully set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with green onions or parsley if desired. Slice and serve warm!
Notes
- This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
