Description

Deliciously tiny cookies that combine sweet and salty flavors with rich chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, continue to mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
