- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, continue to mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized scoops onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
