A creamy and flavorful mashed potato dish with a kick of horseradish and a crispy breadcrumb topping.

- 2 pounds potatoes
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add butter, milk, horseradish, salt, and pepper to the potatoes and mash until creamy.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Transfer the mashed potatoes to a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese together, then sprinkle over the mashed potatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
Notes
- For a spicier version, increase the amount of horseradish.
- Can be made a day in advance; just bake before serving.
