- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, chopped chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread half of the chive butter mixture inside the cavity of each trout.
- Grill the trout for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the trout from the grill and top with the remaining chive butter before serving.
Notes
- For a citrusy twist, add some lemon zest to the butter mixture.
- Trout can be substituted with similar fish like salmon or sea bass.
