Description

A delicious traditional Turkish dish where tiny dumplings are served in a creamy yogurt sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, water, egg, and salt to form a dough.
  2. Roll the dough into tiny balls and drop them into boiling water.
  3. Cook until the dumplings float to the surface.
  4. In another bowl, mix yogurt and minced garlic together.
  5. In a pan, melt butter and add paprika and black pepper.
  6. Serve the dumplings topped with the yogurt sauce and drizzle with spiced butter.
