Description

A delightful vegan take on the classic Italian dessert, this Orange Tiramisu is layered with creamy cashew filling and infused with bright orange flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 12 ladyfinger cookies (vegan)
  • cocoa powder for dusting


Instructions

  1. Soak cashews in water for at least 4 hours.
  2. Blend soaked cashews, coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and orange zest until smooth.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix coffee and orange juice.
  4. Dip ladyfinger cookies quickly in the coffee mixture.
  5. Layer soaked ladyfingers, cashew mixture, and repeat until all ingredients are used.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.

Notes

  • This dessert can be made in advance, allowing the flavors to meld.
  • For a stronger orange flavor, add additional orange zest to the cashew mixture.
