Description

A delicious venison tenderloin recipe enhanced with a buttery herb glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds venison tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Season the venison tenderloin with salt and pepper, then sear in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Pour the butter-herb mixture over the venison and transfer to the oven.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
