Description

A flavorful and unique take on ribeye steak, crusted with wasabi for a spicy kick.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tablespoons wasabi paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the wasabi paste and soy sauce to create a marinade.
  2. Rub the marinade over the ribeye steaks and let them sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  4. Season the steaks with salt and black pepper.
  5. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on both sides of the steaks in the last minute of cooking.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, adjust the amount of wasabi paste.
  • Let the steaks rest after cooking for better flavor absorption.
