- 2 pounds lamb shoulder, cut into pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large baking dish, combine lamb pieces, onions, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, and bay leaf. Mix well.
- Spread the yogurt over the lamb mixture evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the lamb is tender and golden brown.
- Serve hot with your choice of side dishes.
