Description

Delicious almond croissant blondies that combine the rich flavors of almond and buttery croissants in an irresistible dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sliced almonds


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, folding in the sliced almonds.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes
