Description

Delicious and fudgy banana brownies made with ripe bananas for a delightful dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar together.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla to the mixture and stir to combine.
  5. In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the mashed bananas and chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before cutting into squares.
