Description

Delicious homemade chocolates filled with blueberry buttercream, perfect for gifting or enjoying yourself!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream


Instructions

  1. In a blender, puree the blueberries until smooth.
  2. In a bowl, mix the butter and blueberry puree until combined.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to form a buttercream.
  4. Chill the buttercream in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering, then remove from heat.
  6. Stir in the chopped chocolate until melted and smooth.
  7. Pour a small amount of chocolate into each mold, coating the sides.
  8. Fill with blueberry buttercream and top with more chocolate.
  9. Refrigerate until set, then pop them out of the molds.

Notes

  • Make sure the chocolate is tempered properly for a nice shine.
  • Using dried blueberries can intensify the flavor, if desired.
