Ingredients

- 1 cup blueberries
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk, warmed
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the dough by mixing flour, yeast, sugar, salt, milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Prepare filling by mixing softened cream cheese and blueberries until combined.
- Roll out the dough and spread the filling over it, then roll it up tightly and slice it into pieces.
- Twist the pieces and place in a loaf pan, then let them rise again.
- Bake until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow to cool, then drizzle with powdered sugar icing.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easy spreading.
- For a sweeter touch, add more sugar to the cream cheese filling if desired.
