Description

This delightful tart combines the flavors of fresh blueberries with smooth lemon curd, creating a refreshing dessert perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
  • ÂĽ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup lemon curd
  • ½ cup heavy cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, butter, and sugar; mix until crumbly. Stir in egg yolk and water until dough forms.
  3. Roll out dough and place in tart pan, then prick the bottom with a fork.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool.
  6. Spread lemon curd on cooled tart shell and top with blueberries.
  7. Whip cream and pipe on top as desired.

Notes

  • For a sweeter tart, add more sugar to the blueberry topping.
  • Serve chilled for best results.
