Description

Delicious Italian cream-filled doughnuts, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams all-purpose flour
  • 100 grams granulated sugar
  • 10 grams salt
  • 4 grams active dry yeast
  • 3 large eggs
  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 50 grams unsalted butter
  • 250 ml pastry cream
  • vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add eggs and milk, and mix until smooth.
  3. Knead the dough until elastic, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut circles to form doughnuts.
  5. Let the doughnuts rise again for 30 minutes.
  6. Heat the oil and fry the doughnuts until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool, then fill with pastry cream.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
