- 4 marrow bones
- 1 cup macadamia nuts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marrow bones in a baking dish and roast for 25-30 minutes, until the marrow is soft and begins to separate from the bone.
- While the bones are roasting, chop the macadamia nuts coarsely and lightly toast them in a pan over medium heat with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Once the marrow is done, scoop it out and mix it with the toasted macadamia nuts and parsley.
- Serve warm as a topping for bread or on its own.
Notes
- This dish is best served fresh out of the oven.
- For a variation, you can add garlic or different herbs.
- Make sure to use high-quality marrow bones for the best flavor.
