Description

A deliciously moist cake made with brown sugar and fresh peaches, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Fold in the sliced peaches.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Allow to cool before serving.
