Description

A delightful dessert featuring rich caramel flavors and creamy milk pudding.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup water


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, mix milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt over medium heat.
  2. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and begins to boil.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another saucepan, melt butter and add water and sugar, cooking until caramelized.
  5. Combine the caramel with the pudding mix and stir well.
  6. Pour into serving dishes and let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Allow the pudding to set in the fridge for a couple of hours for best texture.
  • Drizzle additional caramel sauce on top before serving if desired.
